Typing

Some of the fifth grade teachers at Salt Creek have been using typing.com for our students to sharpen their keyboarding skills. The basic program is free, though there are some additional features that are available for a subscription fee. As a teacher, you have access to all of your students' statistics. Students can log on an get typing instruction anytime, at home or school. Consider doing it as a center activity, we use it in our Brave period and have a competition that we post winners of periodically. The site is very user-friendly!
